World-class transportation infrastructure that puts people first, and redefines the way we live, work and play.

To deliver an enhanced passenger experience that would provide more frequent, faster and more reliable service on modern accessible trains with improved operational performance in Canada’s most densely populated region, the Government of Canada is advancing the High Frequency Rail (HFR) project, covering Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, Montréal, Trois-Rivières and Québec City.

This website content will be updated in the days following the publication of the Request for Expression of Interest (RFEOI).
